Independent filmmaker Ashley Nicole, who we’ve covered before with films such as “Out of this World,” “Button Eyes,” and “I Can See the Future,” has announced that she is releasing three short films in an anthology project called “Three Creepy Tales.” The films are titled “Mr. Red,” “Cavity,” and “Molly Dolly.”

According to Nicole, the three films will release sometime in 2022. The three films will be available to watch for free on YouTube, as the filmmaker’s other work. Additionally, Nicole will be looking to launch the films on a streaming platform. The films—as per usual for the filmmaker—will be in them form of campfire tales. Nicole has a way of infusing interesting cinematography into her films while narrating them. Reds, blues, and blacks line her films, often with off-putting, carnival-type music which make the proceedings eerie and disturbing.

According to Nicole, “Cavity” is about a deranged dentist, “Mr. Red” is about a killer who hides behind a clown mask, stalking and killing his victims because of envy and mostly hatred, and “Molly Dolly” is about a doll that’s possessed with the spirit of a dead witch that takes control of anyone who looks at it.

The music for the film includes the song “Insane,” by @billycockband and the score, provided by Composer Lukas Lösking, both of whom you can follow on Instagram.
